We’ve made a few improvements to the user profile pages which will help folks build out their friend networks with us and use the site more effectively.
We would ask users to update their profiles and provide a little extra information. Year of birth, home town, fave holiday location, holiday type and a sentence or two about you. You’ll see these fields when you log in next.
You can now also add other Distantias users to your friendlist in the friendship center. It’s an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow travellers. When you receive a ‘friend’ request, you can either accept or decline. We hope to see a lot of accepting 🙂
You’ll also find a new messaging center that’ll enable you to see who communicated with you and in what context and from where. It’s pretty simple, but it works.
We cleaned up the journey log and made your notes more accessible. We also enabled editing and deleting where no longer needed. You can check out all your journeys in the revamped Journey Central.
Finally, we also cleaned up the stats block to show you your site activity and points achieved.
Hope you like the changes!
